Dina Doty
Hello, My name is Dina Doty and I have been teaching in Douglas County for over 15 years.  Prior to this, I lived and worked in the state of New York as a Service Coordinator for individuals of all ages with disabilities.

My undergraduate studies were completed at the University of Maine and I went back to school to receive my Masters Of Science in Education degree.  I received this degree four days before the birth of my firstborn.  I have two boys; Evan, 21, who attends Georgia State University and Justin, who is a senior at Chapel Hill High.  They are my pride and joy! My passion and love for them, however, does not limit me from loving your children because I pride myself in knowing MY students ALMOST as well as you do.

I AM SO EXCITED TO SPEND MY LIFE DOING WHAT I LOVE!!  I currently teach in our Special Education department as the SPID teacher.  You may reach me @ D[email protected] or 770-651-3630

Our class schedule/info is attached.  I will also keep you informed of school-wide events and any upcoming Community-Based Instruction trips via our Class Dojo system.

Read any book to your child and try to use props.  Your child can hold these while you read. Also, take a photo or video of your child showing me something that they enjoyed doing at home and upload to Class Dojo
